October 7th Event

Next week, Monday, we will observe one year since that unforgettable day - October 7th, 2023.

A day which we never thought we would experience in our lifetimes and stirs up so many feelings in our hearts and souls...

The Torah extols us that tragedy and calamity, however absolutely terrible it can be, does not bring us to a state of despair and depression. 

Our feelings of grievance and sadness must serve us a springboard for positive action. That is what the victims would have wanted and that is the way of the Jewish People that when we're faced by the strongest forces of darkness we add in spreading even more light. 

On Monday, October 7th, we will gather to strengthen each other, pray for the liberation of the hostages and security of the Land of Israel and learn about the history and future of Israel in a special multi-media course produced by the Jewish Learning Institute.
